Our Company is committed to establishing and maintaining a safe work environment. The management, supervision and every Swanson Group employee share the responsibility for the safety and health of everyone that works at, or visits, a Company site. We expect all of our employees to firmly embrace our Safety Mission: "Safety is as Simple as ABC...Always Be Careful!!"
There is no single action that is worth doing if it done in an unsafe manner. Safety is the foundation from which to build productivity, quality, recovery, and cost containment. Our employees are required to understand the safety fundamentals of their jobs and their worksites. They must always be on the look-out for those around them, assume individual responsibility to communicate safety concerns, and follow-up on corrective measures.
Employees have the responsibility to perform their job using safe work practices and to abide by the safety and health procedures and practices as set forth by Federal and State regulations, and Company policies.
Swanson Group Aviation is also an active participant in the Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP). This program encourages the development and implementation of specific Safety and Health Programs. The assistance of SHARP will allow Swanson Group to become self-sufficient in managing occupational safety and health of their employees.
